When you create an API on your Exchange you decide which permission is associated with it. ShieldTrade needs watch and trade permission. Shieldtrade can only watch your balance for portfolio tracking or automate your trading.

You can manually enter a trade and use ShieldTrade as exit manager setting a stop loss, a trilling stop loss or your personally designed exit strategy.

Keep in mind that if a manual trade is made on the site on the same pair you are using for an automated strategy it can crash your strategy with an “insufficient funds” error when ShieldTrade will try to execute your instruction.
